Piedmont Park
Piedmont Park is a 200-acre urban park located in Midtown Atlanta. It is the "crown jewel" of Atlanta's Emerald Necklace, a collection of parks and greenspaces that surround the city and are connected by the Atlanta BeltLine.
Piedmont Park, which dates back to the early 1800s, has a rich and interesting history. The Piedmont Exposition of 1887 and the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895 were held here. |
